My JBR is a little late, couldn't think how to start it and wasn't going to bother but after reading other peoples today i'll give it a go. Hope i don't bore you too much

Left perth on 15th October with air paradise. Couldn't fault them. Wonderful service, food was being served through out the whole flight

As they plane landed everyone started un doing their seatbelts in the mad rush to get to the Visa line first but the plane kept travelling past the airport and stopped. We had to get a bus to the airport which bought us out right at the queue. We were in the middle of the pack but had everything stamped and done within about 10 minutes. Grabbed our suitcases checked for white crosses..we were fine even though we had extra alcohol. Rushed pass customs while hubby handed in declaration so they didn't stop us. AHHHH we were in Bali, it was hot as ever, the smell was strong and i was lovin it.

Went to taxi queue to pay a taxi to Kuta Lagoon. Guy tried to keep my change...sneaky bugger. Arrived at Kuta Lagoon ( my mum Max was already there and we had emailed the hotel numerous times asking for a free upgrade to no success) The hotel was not what i expected. Looked a bit run down compared to the brochure but when does a hotel even here in Perth ever look like the brochure that was my fault. Found out we had free upgrade thanks to my mum into a pool access room and it was fantastic She also had a free upgrade because she'd just had a operation and the steps were too much for her. The people were great we met around the pool, The staff were fabulous i would definately stay there again. The only probs were in house movies were rarely played and i had to bug them a few times to put it on.

We hired a driver to take us to see our sponsor kids. We stopped out side the school my mum, hubby and i were a little nervous we grabbed the two big bags full of footys, books, tennis balls etc we had collected. We walked into the school grounds and all these kids came from everywhere saying hello, shaking our hands, waving it was magical. We were escorted to the staff room and met all the teachers there faces smiling. We were givin a drink and sat down, the teachers eyeing off the bags full of goodies still smiling. We showed then our sponsor kids name........they looked at us there smile faded.....they just kept looking.... We were at the wrong school For a minute it looked like they just wanted to grab any two girls and tell us these were our sponsor kids so they could get a look in our bags.

We sat there a few more minutes and told them we must be on our way they thanked us for coming and told us to come again. We couldn't leave we felt so bad so we emptied out the bags and divided them up so this school got half too. The smiles returned the staff were so happy and we went outside and took a photo of all the kids to post to them.

As we were leaving we saw Agung from Rotarty who told us our kids were waiting for us about 5 minutes away.We arrived at our kids school and straight away our two little girls were there they were so shy and quiet. We found out a little about there families and background, gave them their presents, ate fried bananas and took heaps of photos. As we were about to leave our girls aunty and grandma came to see us. It was a wonderful day. As we left all the kids were running after our car waving goodbye.

This is getting a little long so i'll start a new Jbr on restraunts and shopping. Any questions pls ask.
