Brekkie includes juice, tea/coffee, toast, pastries/cakes, eggs anyway imaginable, sometimes ham or sausages. If you want bacon ask the guy cooking the eggs he usually has some hiding under his counter. Same with pancakes... if they haven't any on the tables ask the egg guy to cook some...usually no problem. Also have different variety of noodles rice and vegies. They usually also have vegemite if you ask. Aslo always have large platter of cut fresh fruit.
Brekkie is 7 to 10am.
We stayed in May in the new section in a superior room. Loved it. No smells from the building except the people in it before us smoked so the first night was a bit stuffy. I dont see the point in emailing ahead for a specific room as it never seems to help...have tried. If you ask to see your room before you say yes I am happy with it...this is what we do. If your not happy request another room.
Fridge is bar fridge with small freezer...small.
We had two drawers in the dresser and then hanging space and shelves.
All superior rooms have a balcony.
I would prefer a ground floor room especially in the new section then you are straight out your door and in the pool...no trampsing up and down stairs.
Hope you have a great time. We love the Melasti for what it is and that is a middle of the road place to stay and enjoy our bali holidays.
