There is a music department in the big electrics and whtegoods store at the new Kuta Galleria. They have Decent electric guitars and basses starting at around 600,00 they also had other instruments but I can't remember exact prices but they were about 1/2 price compared to Australia. They also sell acoustic guitars at mataharis but they were pretty average quality.
