Morning Amanda_Kym,
I only post this in the hope that you might check back to see if there was any response to your last post. It was never my intention that this should degenerate into a personal slanging match and I have done my best to ensure that I have said nothing derogatory about you or the content of your post save to say that I disagreed with what you were saying. I am therefore at a loss as to why you would say that "that's the type of thing you people do" when I mentioned the 4WD show. I don't understand what type of people you are referring to or what you have against 4WDs or people who attend shows. I do have some, I emphasise some, legal training primarily in military and aviation law gained over a considerable period of time due to past employment and this did include numerous occasions when interpretations of the law were required. However this is not the case here. I merely passed on what was available from written sources and what I had been told by officers in the Customs Department. You made several statements in earlier posts where you have led people to believe that you were up to speed with the actual written law of this country. This is a little more than simply stating an opinion, just as my responses have been a little more than just an opinion, but I have never questioned your right, in any shape or form, to voice an opinion. As a result I really can not see why you have found it necessary to attempt to sink the slipper into me. Let's keep it all very friendly here even when someone dares to disagree with a statement, or opinion, that you may feel very strongly about.
Cheers
Maverick
PS. Ass refers to a donkey and I have not been around one for quite a while and, as far as I am aware, Customs do not have any. I think the word you were searching for is spelled arse. If you don't believe me look it up.
