even some camera companies, ie Kodak, have stated..out of the film business.
within 5/10 years at the most. only a few pros will be using SLRs
all others will be using Digis.
much faster from start to finish.
example those cross country photos are developed and on the editors desk a lot quicker, it thru email, than the standard SLR pics could ever be.
heck i do not even know where my SLR camera is anymore. have not used it in years.
Adobe is also trying to get the RAW format standarized. That will win lots of pros into the digi camp
