for your booze here in Aus.
Hubby is a big Bourbon drinker and I like the occasional tipple of Benedictine(at $60 a 700ml bottle its VERY occasional LOL). I pay $22.95 for a 700ml bottle of woodstock for hubby normal price and when I got to Sydney and saw that they wanted $49 for a 1.125 L of the same thing I refused to buy it then when I got to Bali and DH was making noises about having to go without his bourbon, I went into the duty free and got the 1.25L JB for only $20 AUS. How can you all say it is dearer for duty free over there???
Yes it is dear in the CK's and at Matahari's but NOT duty free. I think the prices they charge at the Aus Duty Free's is ridicules
On the way back to Aus I got a 1 litre bottle of Bene for $23 US ($29.35 Aus)in Bali airport and I checked at Melb duty free and it was $59.
