etc, BUT, there was a guy sitting on the ground offering palmistry. He had little enlish, and my Bahasa is limited to say the least. He looked at my palm, and offered all the usual warnings not to trust what people say to you, and be careful giving people money etc. He then blew me away, because he pinched the end of my thumb, then the ball of my thumb, and said, with total conviction; " YOu have very bad stomach problems for long time." I was absolutely astounded, then he went on to say: "Not down here, with his hand on his lower stomach, but up here', the top of his abdomen.Surely most people who have problems in Bali would be more likely to have them in the lower tummy area?
I have suffered on and off with constant indigestion, and reflux type symptoms for about 5 years now, but I didn't have a single attack while I was in Bali, so it certainly wasn't even on my mind.
If it was a guess, it was a blo*dy good one, so how did he do it?
Beats me, but I was impressed.
