Bali in December

Hi All, heading off to Bali 1st week Dec staying at Kuta Paradiso. Just wondering whether I could get some suggestions on any of the following;
- Good places to eat
- Nightlife
- Any DVD shops that have had minimal problems with discs
- Must sees as far as sights?

Only have 7 night but will be making most of it.

Really appreciate any suggestions
