We are staying in Puri Raja in July in a deluxe room. I did not think they had interconnecting rooms, but if they say they have they must. This will be our seventh stay at Puri Raja and we love it. Yes it is over 10 years old and in Bali things depreciate quickly, but their maintenance has been good, but the bathrooms are a bit out of date, although clean and functional. There is upstairs and downstairs and I prefer upstairs, but my wife finds it difficult after a while (we are ancient), hence the deluxe room. The position is great and the people staying there are mostly very friendly. Breakfast is supplied and breakfast at the restaurant overlooking the beach is great. There are tea making facilities in the room , but you have to use your own tea and sugar. You can take it with you or purchase it at the little supermarkets opposite. Being a lover of beer I empty the the fridge and fill it from the supermarket. The prices in the hotel are not excessive, but they add 21% to the published prices, so it is easier to eat out and try the many restaurants outside at half the price. There are two pools, the one near the beach is always pretty full, but the other one towards the front of the hotel is nearly always empty. I think you will enjoy the hotel and I hope you will have a good time, we will arrive there after Sanur on 16th July and stay until 5th Aug. May see you there.
