There is a small but good white sand beach with close offshore live coral reef stretching from Shangrila to Resor Prima. The only photo I can find of this beach is on a timeshare website for Shangrila. The beach is normally safe for swimming/snorkeling with calm sheltered water. The photo shows the headland in the background with the temple on top, which was the subject of recent postings.

Shangrila is a modern well appointed small hotel which takes bookings, [not just timeshare].

Many Candi Dasa hotels are advertised as "beachfront" and some have carefully angled photos which create a good impression, but unfortunately things are often not quite what they seem. Regardless of that, Candi Dasa is a special place to me and I would not want a Bali holiday which did not include at least a few days there.
