Hi kristy,
Yes I did get in to see the progress being made on the new cottages. When we left (saturday night) they were making slow (Bali) progress. The main room of the cottage I inspected had been tiled but the bathroom floor had been dug out and they were having "big problems" with the plumbing.
This was the most advanced of the rooms and I suspect it will be several weeks before any are completed. I don't think travel agents would be aware of the new rooms as yet. When I spoke to Rudy (the owner) he had $ signs rolling in his eyes and said that people would have to pay more to stay in these rooms.
Perhaps your best bet would be to e-mail GVC and make a request, aternatively you could ask when you arrive.
Peanut and Spoilt are one and the same. I have even heard of her being called Blackie.
The reason she was eventually given her marching orders from GVC was that she bit a young boy. There are now several signs up at GVC warning that dogs are not allowed on the premises.
Enjoy you holiday. Why not take over some dry cat food (they aree smaller in size and easier for them to eat) and feed the street dogs. If you do just remember to only feed them when they are buy them selves. Even dogs that walk around together will fight over any food you give them and if you get in the way you might get bitten.
Regards
