I have been lurking for a month--collecting plenty of information and making use of the search function. Many thanks to all who have posted information. Although it is our first trip to Bali (and it seems everyone returns again) after reading comments for these weeks I think I will recognize many places mentioned. I have more information than I've ever had before taking a trip. I will write afterward and let you know what surprises were still in store for us.
