Hi I would suggest comparing prices and negotiating very well with regards to shipping. All depaends as well if you are doing a full 20ft or 40 ft container or sending by a LCL which is just buying space in a container by the cbm.if there is a few of you maybe you can fill a 20ft. By rule of thumb once your goods are measuring 15cbm upwards it is actually more economical to buy the entire container space than pay by the cbm.
Dont forget to line up the details of an agent this end to do all your clearance this end unless you have the time and experience to deal with quarrantine and customs yourself when the shipment arrives.

Check that your shipping companny uses the Australian Approved Fumigation company otherwise your goods wont even get off the wharf.Which Port of Destination are you sending to? One of 2 only approved fumigation is Scorpidico(spelling?) Also not sure if you are aware that need you a special liscence to bring in Banana leaf products and also quarantine are clamping down on seagrass and a couple of other materials found in woven items on furniture like ottamnamns some lounges etc.Perhaps check with Aust Qurrantine/ or a freight agent this end. Can also recommend a couple but pends what port of destiantion your goods are coming in at. My contacts are for Brisbane.Sorry this is a long reply but there is so much info to share re shipping etc. Cheers Toni

Also try for a schedule on a direct ship otherwise your container can have a lenghty stopover on the wharf in Singapore.

The company we use is Kune Bali and the contact people are OKa or Agung Elock. Email kunebali@indo.net.id
Oka,s ph no. is 081 238 13927 / Agung Ellock 081 238 03944
I suggest emailing before you go to set up contact and even ask for detailed quote for the month you anticipate shipping.

For another comparison quote try CAS Cargo email general@cascargobali.com.trust me there are hundreds of cargo places but be very careful some are ripoffs and not always offering good service and do a good job of packing etc.

Another company is BCR FX 62 361 283859.I am sure on this site people will all have some good and not so good experiences re shipping and Cargo companies that again are good or not so. If you speak to Kune Bali tell them that Toni Kirby sent you and to do there best for you.We are have some airfreight coming from them this week and also about 10cbm stored in their warehouse waiting our next container.
