Mossie Repellent and babies

Hi all,
Just starting to look into getting things like mossie repellent and i noticed alot cant be used on babies. We will be taking our 6 month old with us. Has anyone found ways to prevent mossie bites on young babies or a good deet repellent that is safe to use on them. We live in Australia. Cheers
