Keep in mind that the machines charge a small fee for usage, however, your credit card "MAY" charge hugh fees, so be sure to check that out before you use your credit card...debit cards are different. One of my cards charged me $10 USD every time I made a withdrawl. I always take out the max, which is about $300 US, to avoid too many fees. Not many ATM's allow that large of a withdrawl. You will find the majority will allow $800,000 -$1.200.000. One of the machiines at Bintang will allow you to take 2.500.000rp, that is the largest I have found.
I have never had a problem receiving the correct amount of cash, or with the machine getting stuck......that would be scary...I've made "MANY" withdrawls.
Good luck, and don't forget to check out the fees if using a "credit card" and not a debit card. All banks charge different fees, for different cards.
