Have recently returned from beautiful Bali and just thought I'd let forumites know of an absolute fantastic boutique hotel that we stayed at in Legian. Its called the Sri Ratu and is on Three Brothers Lane. The location is ideal as its a 5 minute stroll to the beach or the fantastic shopping and restaraunts of Legian.
The hotel suits us as it only has about 20 rooms and prices range from 135000-350000rup including breakfast and discounts available for longer stays. The staff are warm and friendly and never stop smiling.
I've stayed at many hotels in Bali but will go back again and again to the Sri Ratu.
