We are off to Bali in January, first time for all of us... me, my partner and our 15 year old daughter. I have been surfing the net to get some information for our trip and someone suggested this site. WOW!!! What a wealth of information and fantastic advice! The only trouble is... now I'm hooked!?
Unfortunately we will only have 10 days in Bali, which is not going to be enough according to what I've read :)
I think we have a pretty good itinerary, we're staying a few days at Segara Village in Sanur, Hotel Tjampuhan and Spa in Ubud, and Melasti Beach Resort in Legian (have read a lot of conflicting reports on MBR so it will be interesting to see what it's like).
We are have prebooked the Kintamani Lake and Volcano tour, Ocean Rafting 3 Island Cruise, and the Jungle Trek, all of which sound great.
I'm looking forward to doing some serious shopping including having some nice tops (very simple) made if anyone can suggest a good tailor. I am a bit hesitant about the bargaining, I will probably feel bad and pay top dollar!!!
