By the time you go to Travelex/Thomas Cook/Bank and purchase your US$ notes and pay whatever transaction fee is applicable, eg au$8 then it really costs you a little to utilise the VIPVOA service. You pay your us$35 to VIPVOA using your credit card, so you dont have to pay any additional costs to your bank for the purchase since you used your credit card,eg transaction fee above, so at the end of the day the service costs an extra US$10 = AU$13-14, you save having to pay the $8 or so charge to buy the US$, so its really only about au$5 to be rushed through the VOA process. (Based on one traveller, based on 2 the cost to use VIPVOA would be about au$9 each and cheaper for more larger group. )
Sounds great value to me.
