Arrived back Saturday after a great 12 days at the MBR Legion ( old suite no.122) with 2 girlfriends. Trip over was fine with Garuda, no complaints and time went pretty quick. Through VOA with no long waiting period, then off to customs office for the $10.00 au payment for too much wine. All went smoothly as usual. MBR was great. Room was huge, enough space for plenty of shopping to be stored. Staff very friendly.Breakfast more than ample. No complaints here either. Plenty of sunlounges being "reserved" which is very rude. We managed to get a lounge, but some missed out. I told them to put the towels to the side as no one had been there for over 1/2hr which they did. It amazes me that these people think they have the right. Anyway spent most of the time down the beach. Hired the sunlounges 20,000. Got to know the ladies on the beach and had plenty of good times with them. Lots of laughs. Taught us how to weave the ceremony baskets etc from coconut tree, very interesting ladies and the stories they had to tell. We did plenty of shopping. T shirt and short are a very good quality this time with my sons rapt with their pressies. We ate at Tanaya's, La lucciola, Padma, Warung Yoga, Bamboo Corner, Dalang, indonational, Le monde just to name a few and all great food. We visited the spa at MBR for the works and that was very relaxing. Had a few cocktails at different places, some more potent than others. All in all a great time was had. Did't get to Bali Aussie for Melbourne Cup, went to denpasaar instead. Markets definately worth a visit, despite the smells. Ramayana also great. Trip home was good and no trouble with bringing back about 250 dvd's between us. Husbands and children at the airport to greet us so that was a nice return. Looking forward to getting back to Bali, hopefully 2005.
