Lembongan is not commercial at all. You will be hardpressed to even find a souvenier shop. Only a very small part of the island is resorts, but unfortunately it is the major part of the island that people on the forum visit. We have made heaps of friends in Lembongan, been invited to weddings, ceremonies and back to relatives houses etc.
Plenty of cheap places, The island has no electricity during the day, and no cars on the island. The island generator is on from around 4pm until 8am and all day sunday. Seaweed farming is the main industry and you can watch this farming all day. We go every year for 2 weeks happy to answer any further questions.
