Hi, you lovely people.
We are two families travelling to Bali in March/april. We have to book in the next week.
Neither family has ever traveled to Bali before, so we would love some advice.
4 very young adults in their early 40's travelling with a 17 year old young man and 2 14 yr old young men.
We are looking at staying in Legion as we hear its a good location for shopping and nightlife without having to stay in right in Kuta.
We dont really need to stay at your typical family resort with kids club as our younger travellers are teenagers.
We are very keen on the Melasti each Resort. We would probaly choose the suite rooms even though the boys will have their own room.
Other options we are looking at are:-
Legion Beach Hotel
Jayakata
Puri Rja Beach Hotel
Bali Mandira
Bali Padma Hotel
We definatly want a nice pool area prefer with a sunken bar.
A gym would be great too as all travelling are gym junkies.
We are not particularliy looking at budget hotels but dont want a five star either.
Hope this is enough info to go on. Please if anyone has any opinions on a resort in leion, we would love an opinion. Particularly frm people who have stayed a a few different resort.

PS: WE WILL BE THERE IN SCHOOL HOLS........DOES THAT USUALLY MEAN LITTLE KIDS EVERYWHERE ?
Also........we will be there at end of wet season and start of dryer. Is that terribly risky WEATHER WISE ?
