sterilised anything I took our daughter back to Bali before she was 2 months & boughta kettle boiled water & washed the bottles in the sink in the par cooled boiled water, then I stored them in the fridge until I had to make a bottle up.
When in Oz, I used to wash her bottles in the sink prior to doing the other dishes & stored the clean bottles in the fridge, I was told we over do the sterilising, as soon as the bottle is touched it's not sterile anymore anyways so you can go a bit over the top. Which also means bub does not build up immunity to bugs!? Daughter is now almost 6, has been to Bali atleast 10 times, not once had Bali belly & she eats from Daddy's plate even from the carts!
