hi ya There are quite a few comments on this hotel which can differ.
I have stayed there many times in the last 2 years and think it is great.
Some info.
It is back from the street and has security some times there some times not they have boom gates that are put down late at night.
Across the road is the new Paddy's 2 it opened the night I left last trip so don't know how it is. Peanuts is walking distance i would go to Appache and Bounty down the road about 10,000 rp.

Lots of resturaunts near by. I eat very local so can't give to much advice. Across the road is a supermarket for munchies, coke for the duty free but they don't sell Bintang(muslims). As you stann in font of hotel if you walk left you come to Kodak shop great for changing money.Always honest and you get a reciept.

Always taxis out the front.
The rooms. A bit above basic but not luxury.
I firstly take the drinks form the fridge put in a bag and in the wardrobe and stock up myself. The freezer does not make ice can get it room service. They have a safe in the room a God send. Some rooms have a bath others just shower. I have sen some complaints re the hot water but I have never had trouble.
Can make tea/coffee in room if you drink a lot pays to buy own jar as they don't supply much.
The pool has swim up bar with a kiddies end. It is not a loud party place with lots of families.the pool closes but I have come home and had a quiet dip and security have seen me and was ok by them. They don't seemes to fussed if you take ownn drinks by the pool.
Can get massage by the pool but is pricy so either try to work them down or go else where.
Not much life around the pool after 8pm, for me I go out and come home 4-6am so I then want to sleep. So it suits me.
I have never eaten brekky there i don't wake up in time the room service food was ok.Can be a bit slow in coming.
I have never had a ny trouble and have always enjoyed my stay. As i said I am a reg so I think I get a few perks.
To share a story one trip on arrival, the guy dropped my siutcase in the pond and all had to be washed. It was all ready the next morning washed and ironed better than it was packed.
Even in the real quiet times this hotel was always half full last two trips has been complete full.

Nice hotel, with well kept rooms in a very convenient spot-opposite Kuta square. Pool area looks good, geometric in design, but not a lot of garden around the pool itself. Great hotel for adults, but not much atmosphere for kids. I have stayed there once, but have relatives (older aunts) who have been annually for the past six or seven years, and refuse to stay anywhere else.
