You can just about count the revolutions of the fans they have, so if you dont like warm weather, go for the a/c. It is a bit cooler in Ubud so consider what time of year you are going, fans may be OK.
Make sure you dont get a room near the water pump as it turns on and off at all hours and is VERY noisey.
Have stayed there twice before, will be in Ubud (and other places) in January and will stay somewhere different this time.
