SBY really has his work cut out taking on corruption, but it will be a positive start If he demonstates that he is not corrupt, all reports indicate that he is clean. He may have some success in tackling the Macro aspects of corruption within the country. As far as the small scale stuff is concerned I think your right Cliff,if we as visitors can take positive actions where ever we see crooked practices, like Collen did. At least dob them in in some way so others will know.Maybe Mic could add a new section to her site, a Black List and White list. containing detais of business's that have proved to have corrupt practices and the other detailing business's that deserve our support. I realise you'd want to be pretty sure of the facts before adding names to the Black list.
More importantly in the long term it will be great if SBY succeeds to the extent that ordinary Indonesians will eventually feel confident enough to say no to the cop with his hand out.
Must say I also agreed with your comments about the war on terror.
