We stayed there for 3 weeks in September and thought it was really good value. It is a budget property but our family room was as good if not better than some of the 4 and 5 star properties we had stayed in.
Mosquitos are a problem - we sprayed the room every night before going out and it was fine.
The only other complaint is their lack of pool towels. They always seemed to be running out which was a problem. Experienced same at the resort.
The pool is smallish but better than what we expected. As the hotel filled up for school holidays - there was not many sun lounges etc.
On the whole. Good value, good location, yes - secure and good staff.
We will stay there again in April.
