you can joke and have fun with people without making fun AT people. So far Aussie's have been called, fat(the women anyway), obsessive beer-drinkers (believe it or not but we are not ALL beer drinkers), Bali-biased, incapable of listening to people opinions, badgering non-aussies, and being bali forum hogs. It makes sense to me that there are a lot of aussies on a bali travel forum - it's SO close. I bet a Bermuda triangle site (for example) would have lots of americans on it, the Cook Islands - NZ's. It's cheaper for peop-le to holiday close to home, and for us that's Bali. If you dont like it then go elsewhere. As someone else said - for someone that slags off at the forum a lot he sure soed seem to be on here a lot. And I dont know where he's been reading, but I've heard planty of 'bad' things about Bali and know to look out for them now because of it - eg. taxi meters turned off, people being overcharged, problems with hotels, police bribery/harassment if driving/riding, bali belly, customs, porters at teh airport, dangerous roadwroks, etc. So maybe read a bit more before you judge people about only telling about the positive side of things. Sorry, but... you can have fun without being such a downer
