We did this for a few years in the last century!!
1xff + 1xpaying + 2 x landcontent flying BC.
Until the trip when there was only 1 x FF BC. and the the other flew economy.
Guess who drew the short straw on the return and won the babies and the toddlers and the pre teens who keep kicking the back of your seat etc.
And could also see into BC as the other one was being handed his (whoops gave it away) delightful red wine - really not happy at all.
We now fly Garuda BC and call it the magic carpet flight - better than replacing the carpetwhichhasgoneto god!!
