It all depends on your budget of course but if I had the money I would stay at Kartika Plaza, right on the beach in Tuban. It is close to the Markets, Matahari and lots of eating places. My daughter is getting married there next year. If you want to go a little cheaper Bali Rani and Ramayana would be my next choice.
If you want to go budget, but lovely big rooms and cheap, try Balisandy in Poppies II lane, also great location, not on beach though. It is quiet and you would be pleasantly surprised. website is www.balisandy.com.au. Room are better than they look on the website. You can contact our driver Ketut ketutsudirta@hotmail.com and arrange for him to pick you up from the airport. Don't get transfers, they cost too much.
