I agree with 1st_Timer. If you love art and culture you will love Ubud. You really should think about spending a day or two there if you can. Make sure you visit Tanah Lot temple on the way back for sunset. It is a painters dream
A little bit out of Ubud is Tegallalang, very scenic rice paddies.
I would also go to East Bali if you have time. It is beautiful, with some amazing rice paddy views with Mt Agung in the distance. The mountains are amazing with views to the sea. Visit Tirta Gangga, the water palace while you are East. You will love it!!
