Nothing really 5 star at Amed but there are many places that are on the beach or have beach access (most with great views) and not overly large.
Some are very basic others offer more comfort/facilities.
We hired a boat from a guy on the beach who took us out snorkelling for a couple of hours
In Amed,I have stayed at WaWa WeWe II (in the basic range) & have seen Puri Wirata (which is next door)
Others like the Bali Beach House, Bayu, Blue Moon,Santai,Dancing Dragon to name a few.
Apa Kabar Villas also looks good.
