I toured there last year and the Deluxe and Luxury Suites are beautiful and an excellent value. The resort is only a couple of years old. The view is of an adjecent rice fields are nice. Several travel sites have a 380.00 USD 3 night package for the Deluxe Suite. Includes breakfast, massage, 1 dinner, transport to airport. That is a bargain in my opinion.
I stayed at Puri Bunga last year in their "Honeymoon Suite". The views of the Ayung river are spectular. The room is modest but clean and comfortable. They have renovated some of the other rooms with marble baths etc. The ground are very nice and they have two pools. Once again an excellent value.
Can't go wrong at either place, but Kori Ubud is certainly more upscale.
