I enjoyed reading your JBR, and so pleased that you loved Bali as I do. We recently returned to Bali for our 7th trip, and had a terrific holiday, although I seemed to spend much of it shopping!
I did a day trip to Lombok back in 2002, and really enjoyed my day there. The Bounty Bungalows sound like a great spot.
Were you at the Dynasty the same time as our lot - 28th June to 9th July? We were on our 4th stay there, and had the usual fabulous time. Am in the process of organising another trip for same time next year.
Did your kids enter any of the bombie comps or pillow fights? They certainly do it well for the kids staying there eh.
Our group had 4 Kiwis in it, although we all now live in Perth. I am originally from New Plymouth, but lived in Christchurch for 2 1/2 years back in the 70's!
We also bought our CD's & DVD's at Hoyts from Colleen's recommendation, and like you took some gifts for Wayan's wee boy - wasn't he a cutie? I took some photos too, which I will give them next year. Have so far only had the 1 problem and that's with a 40 track Robbie Williams CD. Thought it was too good to be true - 40 songs on one CD, and there's actually only 1!
