I have to agree with you with bigger resorts and hotels..
I have spoken to many people while away and they said that where we were staying at the time, it was the best fun they had in a LONG time!
and it was only budget! I cant guarantee you that i will be staying again (when i go by myself ) at the 14 Roses again or Dewi Sri?... my fun "aussie friends" had stayed there and said they had a ball there as well...
The 14 Roses was nice and clean (for a budget) and they thought i was a bit of a Nutta.... :-)
They would laugh at me when i was hang over and drunk trying to jump over the desk to reach for my key to my room! GOSH ... i was naughty! lol.....
But then again, Some places are nice as well... :-)
Who knows! :-)
Also.. yes.. its very true when you get back from Bali and you have people asking questions like, "did you feel safe" or "was it horrible"..
I just tell them, that i never felt in danger or lonely and the people are beautiful!... I had no problems!...
Ijust wish id stop dreaming of the place... I was at my happiest when I was there! I want that feeling again! :-(
