I picked up a cheap hosting package on Ebay for $33 for a year, and I'm currently hosting 3 websites on the one hosting package without any troubles at all. At $11 per year per website, it's a lot less hassle than any of the free hosting options. You also don't have the crappy advertising banners on your sites. Registering a domain is pretty cheap too, I've been registering mine for US$7.95 a year.
