Julie..I went to the Denpasar markets some years ago and wouldnt go back. I found a great and better market near Gianyar called Sukawati Markets. Apart from the normal range of clothing, shoes, gold and silver jewellery you can get every fabric imaginable in the main street and over the road you can get electrical gear at really good prices. No hassles with hecklers, just ask on the sreet for a driver with a good car/Jimmy or whatever. They get a lot of their own gear from here...Happy shopping.Bob
