This year daughter and I tried a few "new" types of confectionery, so I thought I'd write a small(well, I'll try hard to keep it to a minimum) spiel about those we liked.

BENG BENG bars - 1250- 1500rp each: A chocolate covered bar with gooey toffee , peanuts and wafer - vedict: really yummy, but sticks to your teeth! Cheap.

TOP bars - 8 bars for 8050rp - a chocolate covered bar with caramel, rice crispies, wafer & cream - Verdict: - also yummy, but not as "big" a flavour as the Beng Bengs. Cheap.
Also, comes in a strawberry version.

KOPIKO Lollies - 4,200rp for a 150g bag. A hard-boiled type lolly with coffee & caramel flavours. Verdict: Yummy & Cheap. Can be bought in Oz also I believe.

RASA CAPPUCCINO - 2,200rp for a 105g bag. A chewy coffee and cream flavoured lolly. Verdict: Very yummy & Addictive! Cheap. On the "Must Buy" list for next year, and will check them for price at Makro.

BASKIN ROBBINS MINT CHOC CHIP - Daughter thinks about 20,000rp for a 113g bag at the Airport shop. Not sure if you can buy here. Yummy but not such a bargain buy.

We also bought some other confectionery at Makro, which is mentioned in my JBR6. Starburst, Mentos rolls & Alpenliebe strawberry rolls are very cheap to buy there, and are on hubby's/daughter's shopping list, not mine.

The other product which I'd like to mention, and that's because I actually prefer savoury to sweet, and I know I'm addicted to them, but then I'm probably a CHILLI addict from way back, is:-

"Mr P" chili roasted peanuts KC BALADO 4 x 40g bags at Makro-8030rp.

There are also other flavours such as garlic roasted & honey roasted and they also have the same flavours in cashew nuts. YUM YUM!!They all taste great with a bintang, and not too bad with a wine.
