We had a quote of 100,000 Rp. per day to hire a TV and DVD player. That worked out to be quite a bit over 16 days, so we didn't bother. When I told the lady I could probably buy them for that price, she replied that that was a good idea, then I could leave them there with her to rent out, lol. I would never have thought of that, but the Balinese are very opportunistic and business minded, and I mean that in the nicest possible way. I could probably learn a thing or two, lol!(I could have been opportunistic too, and rented it to you, lmao!)
