I am an Australian - a long story of how we got the discounts. Did one of those time share things and got a booklet from the Penisula Hotel in Nusa Dua and it had discount vouchers. But when we booked they took a little convincing about discounting but then discounted it further. Most places were happy to discount - due to the low number of tourists I think. They gave us the further discount when we rang them at their offices. Best of luck.
