As I'm (hopefully) on my last legs of planning, I've come across the info on this forum about orphanages, and I'd definitely like to visit and donate. I was thinking Panti Asuhan Salam outside of Ubud through Carry for Kids.
Forumites seem to say to purchase materials in Bali to help the local economy, though I may bring some CD players from home. Wondering, though, about how much money should I budget to be really effective? And any other thoughts on this specific facility?
