A Tragedy Happened at The Villas
My co-worker's family had a trip to Bali in June. For her husband, a twenty-nine-year-old beloved husband and father, however, it was the final trip of his life. He drowned in the swimming pool of 'The Villas', now also known as 'Prana SPA Villas'. The deepest part of the pool was about 2 meters and on top of the tiles of Yin and Yang, and there was no clear warning sign. When the accident happened, the staffs of The Villas didn't offer any emergency procedure. They drained the water from the pool, moved his body to the pool-side. There was no medical personal or a staff who knew CPR on site. They watched my helpless co-worker who didn't really know how to apply CPR, either, applying CPR on her husband. Thirty minutes later, the ambulance came, but it was too late.
I hope people are aware that there are villas with deep pools, but no emergency precautions, such as life guards and medical personals. It is a big mistake. This is not the first accident happened there. I also hope everybody will be careful when they are traveling and will come home happily and saftely afterward.
