Doesn't answer your question however, I've now decided I will take the day cruise instead of the evening one. Are you visiting from the US? The link you gave indicated US$50 at the top and AUD50 at the bottom?
How long are you in Bali for? If less than 10 days then I would think you would be better off pre-booking it as it is a popular cruise from what I gather. Otherwise, I'd leave it till I was there.
