Someone not long ago put up a link to photos recently taken at Dreamland. It looked like a mini Kuta - lounges and umbrellas cluttering up the sand, two and three storey structures bordering the beach and quite a few people. I was shocked - the Dreamland you may know and love is the one I knew a few years ago. And, yes, the shorebreak is not meant to be messed with. I once saw a girl sunbaking too close to the shorebreak and soon found herself doing an impression of clothes in a tumble dryer.
