Have just arrived home from 12 nights in Bali.
Stayed at Rumah Manis - some rooms awful, other rooms excellent. Cleanliness excellent, pool mediocre, breakfast just OK, mosquitoes dreadful, barking dogs annoying at midnight.
Good things - beautiful leather jacket, clothes made up by Komang (took my fabric), the people, the weather, good flights with Garuda, meeting up with friends, La Lucciola, and well, Bali
The bad - the cock fight in Legian street, some of the restaurants, the sad dogs, the ponies, the time share people, some of the transport people, and being told at 5.40pm that we were going to be collected at 6pm for a flight leaving at 00.55 - because they were too busy - yeah right!
Oh, and a snake in Waterbomb - sitting on the smashdown slide! At least it was a really pretty one!
