(ish)(40++ for some - tee hee) we walked miles every day - just marvelling at the sights (and smells!) - shopped a lot, ate and drank heaps and then did a bit of pool time followed by a relaxing meal and few drinkies. Pretty boring really but thats our sort of break. We did the monkey forest (hated it - seen one monkey seen them all), did the volcano thing - turtle island (must be two of them) - the one we went too was awful - and basically ate and drank our time away. Was great. We made a pact that we wouldnt eat any food we could get at home and wouldnt eat in the same place twice. Brilliant!! Only had 1 dodgy meal. No Bali belly though. We didn't spend any time in Ubud - on the list for this time -but we loved Kuta and Sanur. We were pretty naive on that 1st trip but we are a little more prepared this time. Got heaps of info off this site (thanks guys) and we like the sound of the Bali Hai cruise, the elephant rides and the SHOPPING. Dont fill out any questionaires in Kuta though - got caught and ended up wasting 4 hours with some moron (fellow kiwi!) trying to sell us time-share. Dont bother! We liked Sanur cos its quiet - bit like us! Sorry I cant help with really exciting stuff - I'm sure you will get heaps of ideas from others here - the knowledge some have is amazing. Have a great trip. JP
