this is the first time i have been game to go back on BTF since returning... was worried it would remind me of getting ready to go to Bali and that it would somehow make it real that the holiday has been and gone.....
well... I know I am nuts, but I am sitting here crying!
Maybe it is the thought of going back to work on Monday, but I don't think so....
I want to do a JBR (as a first timer) but don't think I am up to it yet. I WILL say that I thanked the stars/gods (EVERYONE) every day that I was there that I had found BTF before we went. I truly believe i would not have had nearly as good and informed (and prepared) time if I had not had the input from you all. I met a lady on one of our last days from Paddinton in Sydney who said" I had no idea what to expect when I came here, but i thought it would be civilized and ... you know.... Western!"
Anyway, just briefly, my son (16) and I did find it a bit daunting at first, met some lovely people, both "locals" and BTfers, as well as others from around the world who were all great.
Am rambling, and no.... i am not ready yet to put it all down, but THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH- I TRULY mean it when I say we would have been lost without your input.
