The VOA is a fairly new tax, you should check with your travel agent as some passport holders eg Ireland and Holland have to arrange their visas before they travel or they will be denied entry. If you have a UK passport that is alright for VOA - better to have the money in US$'s as it saves time - also remember to keep Rup100,000 for your departure tax - they get you coming and going.
