Hi NYC - Bali, Try Bali Hai its a great hotel where I have stayed on 10 occasions. It is well situated in Tuban just south of Kuta, takes only 5 minutes from Airport and has some good restaurants, pool table and is right on the beach. The staff are fantastic and the pool bar will serve you your fun drink.
Just on the bye & bye my family and I will be at Bali Hai Resort between 31/7 & 28/8. If you do choose Bali Hai please look us up. Incidently I replied to your post re Bahasa Indonesia and if you wanted the CD-Rom I told you about I am prepared to buy it here and bring it Bali for you - Cost US$50 approx (Kira Kira in Indo)
