you are in the younger age group.You didn't mention that so I will try & guess.Most of the young ones like a party type atmosphere or a lively place,which sounds like what you may be after.Many seem to like the Barong or The Bounty hotel.I believe they are both the type of place that young people on their own can easily make friends.Many places are family type places & may not suit what you are after.We go to family orientated places but I try & pay attention to what the younger ones on the forumm say.
Poppies lane is also a lively area for the younger set but there are plenty of places you will find other young people.I'm probably not the best person to talk to but there are plenty of younger people on the forum that will be able to help you.If you are younger then out of the way - chill out places will probably bore you witless,they do even with us,they may not suit you.Don't just think along the lines of the more you spend the more fun you'll have.Plenty of young people go to Bali & spend peanuts & have a ball.
You probably need to be with people your age who have similar interests & not in a family type place surrounded by parents & kids.I know you'll find some where great & have a ball.
