We went there a number of years ago and stayed at Villa Wayan.
We went over on a very large traditional style outrigger from [as I recall] Sanur. I think the boat was something to do with Villa Wayan. It was a very smooth trip.
The day we came back the outrigger wasn't running and we were on a very state-of-the-art ferry, one of those built not far from where I live south of Fremantle. A very bumpy ride! Maybe they should have another look at the traditional design.
